Oyebanji’s Re-election Reflects Ekiti People’s Confidence in APC, Says Joel-Onowakpo

Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, representing Delta South Senatorial District, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on his re-election, describing the victory as a clear endorsement of the governor’s performance and leadership.

In a congratulatory message issued on Sunday, the lawmaker said Oyebanji’s victory, with 319,224 votes, reflected the confidence and trust reposed in him by the people of Ekiti State and the governing All Progressives Congress (APC).


Joel-Onowakpo noted that the outcome of the election demonstrated the appreciation of Ekiti residents for the governor’s developmental achievements and commitment to the growth and prosperity of the state.

According to him, the people of Ekiti renewed Oyebanji’s mandate because of his record of impactful governance and dedication to improving the lives of citizens.

The senator also commended the electorate for their faith in the APC and for re-electing what he described as a proven performer to continue the work of advancing development across the state.

“As a member of the APC National Campaign Council and a loyal supporter, I am delighted by this well-deserved success,” he said, expressing optimism that the governor’s second term would bring even greater progress and development to Ekiti State.

Joel-Onowakpo wished Oyebanji a successful tenure and reaffirmed his confidence in the governor’s ability to deliver on the aspirations of the people.
