The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro PhD, on Friday received the PDP Caucus of the Benue State House of Assembly in his National Assembly office.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Member representing Adoka/Ugboju State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mike Audu said they came to congratulate Senator Moro on his elevation to the position of Senate Minority Leader. Hon. Audu said the position was not only for Senator Moro but for the entire Benue PDP. He said as Minority Leader, Senator Moro had proven capacity and capability so quickly in his handling of party matters and governance, especially in the ways and manners the just concluded NEC meeting of the party was held without rancour and crisis.

He thanked the senator for his quality representation in the Senate, which is visible in his sponsored bills and motions, and the legacy projects being facilitated to and executed in Benue South. Hon. Mike said the Caucus was fully committed to the senator and pledged its ”100% loyalty and support” at all times. He expressed optimism that through the leadership being provided by Senator Moro and other leaders of the party in the state, they would reclaim power in 2027.

His words;
“As parliamentarians, the task before us is always enormous. You must strive to attract infrastructure to your various constituencies and don’t lose sight of your core responsibility which is lawmaking, so sponsor bills and motions that have direct impacts in the lives of your people.

“Be closer to your people and attend to their expectations. I will continue to partner with you and work with you for the good our people.

“If you succeed, I succeed, so let’s keep working together so that we continue to succeed together. I thank you so much for coming,” he stated.
