Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, has expressed optimism about the 2025 budget presented by President Bola Tinubu. In an interview, Ukodhiko stated that the budget “holds significant promise” and will drive positive changes for the Nigerian people.
While acknowledging the current economic hardships, Ukodhiko emphasized the need for strong leadership and tough decisions to ensure the nation’s survival. “We need a determined and focused leader to guide us through these difficulties. If such decisions are not made, the country may face further decline,” he explained.
Despite public concerns, Ukodhiko believes the budget is a step in the right direction.“The President’s commitment to restoring Nigeria is clear. I believe this budget will be a catalyst for recovery,” he said. Ukodhiko urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and patient, trusting that the budget will bring long-term benefits.
The 2025 budget proposal, titled “The Budget of Restoration,” aims to address national priorities, rebuild the economy, and secure Nigeria’s future.
The proposed budget stands at N47.96 trillion, with key allocations including N4.91 trillion for Defence and Security, N4.06 trillion for Infrastructure, and N2.48 trillion for Health.
